Our Story

Established September 2020, Gigi's Sweets is a home-based business offering Gourmet Chocolates, popcorn, and specialty custom sweet treats.  Aside from operating at home, we can also be found in and around Joliet, and the Greater Chicagoland Area doing fun, seasonal Pop-up Shops.  As an added convenience to our customers, we offer both call-in and online ordering, curbside pick-up, plus delivery.

 

While newly established, Gigi's Sweets is not new to the industry.  In fact, for more than 10 years, we proudly Owned and Operated Gji's Sweet Shoppe, once located in Joliet's downtown business district, directly across the street from the historic, Rialto Theater.  For a number of years, our business was thriving and satisfied the sweet-tooth cravings of both newcomers and loyal customers alike.  Sadly, after a life-changing event, we were forced to close our doors in June 2019, though soon after, we incorporated and continued operation under Gigi's Sweets.

 

With great anticipation, we have "rolling" plans for Gigi's Sweets and will be taking our business on the road, literally.  Details are forthcoming and will be shared at a later date.  Meanwhile, our goal is to make our customers' day sweeter through our offerings of delectable sweet treats, coupled with excellent customer service.
